There is pure aluminum die casting process that is very useful in the die casting field, especially in automotive die casting parts, the reason the pure aluminum casting part is very good for anodizing surface treatment, this is not aluminum alloy die casting part able to compare, for example die casting made in ADC12 which is not able to do the anodizing, but pure aluminum die casting part like Aluminum 6061 is good for this surface treatment,

• The normally high pressure die casting process for pure 6061 die casting will be, melt the aluminum 6061 into liquid ( liquid aluminum temperature is up to 730℃-790℃), then inject the liquid pure aluminum material in the barrel and use the high pressure injecting the material into the aluminum die casting mold, this die casting mold made my steel and the gate size is over 3mm, and the mold temperature is 180℃-240℃, after material injected in the pure aluminum die casting mold then cold the mold temperature, after that open the mold and ejector the cold aluminum die casting part out from the mold, this whole process we called die casting process. For the pure aluminum die casting part, the mold draft angle should be much high than aluminum alloy die casting, the purpose is increasing the pure aluminum flow rate and easy to full filling the mold cavity, pure aluminum die casting parts including 2024 aluminum, 2A12 die casting, 1060 aluminum die casting, 1070 aluminum casting, etc.
