A tee has three openings, one inlet and two outlets; "Or a chemical pipe fitting with two inlets and one outlet, with T and Y shapes, equal diameter nozzles, and reduced diameter nozzles, used at the confluence of three identical or different pipelines.". The main function of a tee is to change the direction of the fluid.
Due to different transmission media, the material of the tee pipe is divided into: cast iron, cast steel, cast copper, cast aluminum, plastic, glass, etc. Tees can be divided into metallic and non-metallic materials according to material. Metal tees include carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel, etc. Screw thread tees are produced in accordance with the malleable steel standard, and the national standard implemented is GB/12459-2005. Non metallic materials such as PVC, UPVC, PPR, etc. According to the connection method, it can be divided into two types: snap type and threaded connection. According to shape, it can be divided into T-shaped and herringbone shaped.
