Reducer is one of the chemical pipe fittings, used for two different diameter of the connection. Is divided into concentric reducer and eccentric reducer. Reducer including stainless steel reducer, alloy steel reducer, carbon steel reducer, main material includes Q234, Q345 and 20 steel, etc.
Concentric reducer mainly has the following characteristics:
1, when the fluid flow in pipes have change, such as increasing or decreasing, velocity requirements haven't changed much, all needs to use variable diameter tube.
2, When into the pump imports, in order to prevent cavitation.
3, For instrumentation, such as flow meter, the regulator shall, in order to cooperate with the joint of the instrument, also need to use reducer.
