PTA Introduction and Usage:
BD-SX101 are 60/40 blends of spherical, cast tungsten carbide (CTC-S) and self-fluxing matrix materials.
This combination of a very hard phase material (tungsten carbide) and a corrosion resistant matrix results in a product
that is suitable for laser cladding or PTA deposits that resist erosion from particulates in slurries
.
The most significant advantage of the plasma transfer arc surfacing PTA is that
the heat affected zone is small,
the heat effect of the substrate is small, the dilution rate is low, and the work piece is deformed in the welding process.
Secondly, the plasma arc can be accurately adjusted, the process is controllable,
and the welding work can be carried out, and the thin work piece can be welded;
third, arc column. High temperature, high energy density, concentrated heating,
strong penetration ability, high speed welding, high productivity.
It is mainly used for the surfacing of cobalt base and tungsten carbide based materials.
It is applied to exhaust valve seat, glass mold, ball valve, butterfly valve, drilling tool, anti-wear plate, boiler tube wall and so on.
