Spiral pipe, also known as spiral steel pipe or spiral welded pipe, is the low carbon structural steel or low alloy structural steel strip according to a certain Angle of the spiral line (called forming Angle) rolled into the tube blank, and then welded together, it can use a narrower strip to produce large diameter steel pipe.
Spiral pipe is mainly used for oil and natural gas transmission pipelines, and its specifications are expressed by outer diameter * wall thickness. Spiral pipes are single-side welded and double-side welded. The welded pipes shall ensure that the hydrostatic test, tensile strength and cold bending performance of the weld meet the requirements.
