Simple Introduction:

Our sheet metal shear blades include circular shearing blades and guillotine shear blades. Circular shearing blades are mainly used for sheet converting. Such as stainless sheet converting, carbon steel converting. The guillotine shear blade, with 90degree cutting edge. It is mainly used for shear metal sheet into pieces.

Circular shear blades are made from tungsten carbide materials. Hardness almost be HRA90 hardness. The guillotine shear blades, customer can consider hardness standard metal or inlaid tungsten carbide materials.

Circular shear blades usually have top blade and bottom blade a set. Top blade and bottom blade are same totally. They are assembled on a roller. Both blades touched each other, like a scissor. So our circular shear blades are very precision, less tolerance. And to insure the blade working well, the all blades are same totally. From blades tolerance to blades surface flatness, it must be same. BTW, our tolerance of this blade can be ±0.002MM.

As for the guillotine shear blades. The assemble way similar as paper cutting guillotine blades. Shearing is performed by slicing through sheet metal with a blade-affixed machine or tool. Sheet metal is first secured between the tool’s or machine’s blades. Most shearing tools and machines have a squaring arm to control the location of the cut. After placing the sheet metal in the proper position with the squaring arm, the top blade drops to slice through the sheet metal. As the top blade comes down, the bottom of the sheet metal is pressed into a lower blade.
