​ How does it work 

The principle behind the extra large ceiling fan is to move a very large amount of air by using large-diameter fan blades rotating at a low speed to break up the stratified air layer. The low speed of the fan makes it more efficient to convert electrical energy into useful laminar flow, rather than generating wasteful turbulence and resistance at higher speeds-which ultimately only generates unwanted heat.

These large blades move more air than their smaller ceiling fans, usually 5-20 times, and have the same cooling effect. No other cooling system can be as energy-efficient as a system using HVLS industrial fans. In fact, research shows that companies can reduce or even completely eliminate the use of expensive air conditioning systems through optimized extra large ceiling fan solutions.
