What are UV light air purifiers?
UV air purifiers are designed to use short-wave ultraviolet light (UV-C light) to inactivate airborne pathogens and microorganisms like mold, bacteria and viruses. They have the same ultimate goal of all air purifiers: to reduce indoor air pollutants. The technology is also referred to as UV germicidal irradiation, or UVGI air purifiers.
RCI technology has been validated in numerous case studies, which show that the technology is the dramatically reduces concentrations of airborne aerosol contaminants, neutralizes and eradicates viruses and bacteria and infectious germs and viruses, including Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and SARS-CoV-2.
RCI products are installed in facilities with a high risk of contamination:
schools, hospitals, restaurants, offices etc. Once installed, the tests showed tremendous reduction of bacteria on and airborne particles were dramatically reduced.
