The LNK-AMP1001 is a one channel surveillance amplifier that can increase the CCTV video transmission range of an analog CCTV security camera to 800 meters / 2620 feet over RG59 coaxial cable. This amplifier has one (1) channel BNC video input and one channel BNC video output and works with NTSC and PAL format analog cameras.

The LNK-AMP1001 has sharpness and brightness adjustment knobs to work perfectly with your DVR. The power supply is not included with this CCTV camera video amplifier. This product is made for use with analog CCTV cameras and does not work with HD security cameras (AHD, TVI, CVI, HD-SDI cameras).

Video Amplifier for Analog CCTV Camera Installation and Troubleshooting

Here are some recommended installation and troubleshooting points that we recommend all installers read.

• Confirm that you are using an analog CCTV camera and not any type of HD CCTV camera (like AHD, HD-TVI, or HDCVI formats). This amp ONLY works with analog CCTV cameras (CIF, D1, and 960H resolution).
• Please confirm that you are using 75 Ohm RG59 cable that is made for analog CCTV applications. If you are using a type of RG59 cable for cable TV installations, the AMP-1001 will NOT help you and you need to switch out your cable. • If you are having trouble with your video signal on an older installation, please inspect the BNC connectors on both ends of your cable run and ensure that they are secure and not corroded.
• Only use an amplifier if you cable run is longer than 500 feet. Proper RG59 coax cable can transmit analog CCTV camera video up to 700 feet without an amplifier. If you use this device on shorter cable runs, it will not help the video signal and may actually make it worse.
