Polyvinyl Chloride ( PVC ) is a thermoplastic material having outstanding corrosion resistance, excellent electric insulating properties and good mechanical strength. The properties of the material can be varied by the addition of fillers, plasticizers,stabilizers commonly used in electrical and chemical industries is unplasticized since plasticizer affect adversely chemical and electrical properties. It is a dark grey color and available in basic shapes such as sheets, rods, hollow bars, pipes and specially profiles. PVC materials are easily cemented and welded using hot air.
