The Biscuit Baking Belt, also known as Rolled Baking Band or Z Belt, is a specialized conveyor system designed specifically for bakery industry applications. Featuring a unique Z-shaped flattened spiral design, this belt enables direct baking of biscuits in straight feed-through ovens.
This stratified metal spiral belt combines lightweight construction with reduced thickness, delivering low heat inertia, exceptional strength, and optimal air circulation. The woven, stratified structure creates wire superposition with an open mesh pattern and looped edges for enhanced durability.
Manufactured through a precision rolling process that forces duplex unilateral spiral woven mesh into a completely flat, smooth surface, the belt maintains reduced thickness without compromising thermal efficiency. The design ensures low mass, high strength, and superior air circulation, making it ideal for friction-driven operation using large diameter drums typically positioned at the oven outfeed.
Constructed from specially selected carbon steel for uniform baking results, these belts operate effectively at temperatures ranging from +200°C to +275°C. Stainless steel construction is available upon request for enhanced corrosion resistance.
The flat, uniform surface makes Rolled Baking Band suitable for conveying both soft and hard dough through baking processes while ensuring even heat distribution across the entire belt width.
