1.melting furnace introduction

The crucible copper melting furnace is used to melting copper with a max

temperature of 1400 degree celcius (atmosphere temperature). In comparison

with the normal induction melting furnace, the gas fired copper melting furnace

with graphite crucible is more easy in operation, and more cost saving.

3.Furnace Structure

3.1 The crucible copper melting furnace shell is fabricated from steel plates

and sectional steel.

3.2 Refractory lining: The refractory lining is made of once-forming castable.

This once-forming casting structure has a strong strength, and a long service life.

(compression strength: 140Mpa at a temperature higher than 110℃; linear change rate: 0.1%).

The castable material is high temperature type supplied by Allied Mineral Products (Tianjin) Co., Ltd.

The heat preservation layer is comprised of porcelain fiber board, and light mullite heat preservation bricks.

Advantages of lining: good heat preservation purpose, low energy consumption, and long service life.

3.3 Burning system

The burning system of the crucible copper melting furnace employs the quality Riello gas

burner which has functions of temperature control, automatic ignition, flame detection, and

automatic start-up or shut-off of the burner based on the temperature upper limit and lower limit.

3.4 Hydraulic system

The hydraulic system of the gas fired copper melting furnace is used to tilt the furnace body

to unload the molten copper.
