410L: On the basis of 410 steel, the C content is reduced, its machinability, welding deformation resistance, high temperature oxidation resistance is excellent. Used in mechanical parts, engine exhaust pipe, boiler combustion chamber, burner.

420J1: High hardness and good corrosion resistance after quenching. Applied to tableware (knife), turbine blade.

420J2: Martensite represents steel grade, high strength, high hardness (magnetic); Poor corrosion resistance, poor formability, good wear resistance; Heat treatment to improve mechanical properties. After quenching, the hardness is higher than 420J1 steel. Widely used in processing tools, nozzle, valve, plate ruler, tableware.

430: as a representative ferritic steel, thermal expansion rate, formability and oxidation resistance. Suitable for heat resistant appliances, burners, household appliances, 2 class tableware, kitchen sink. Low price, good processing is the ideal SUS304 substitute; Good corrosion resistance, typical non heat treatment hardening ferritic system stainless steel.

In the same chromium content, such as in the atmosphere, fresh water and nitric acid so oxidizing medium, 400 series of stainless steel corrosion resistance and 300 series of stainless steel varieties are the same, and usually 400 series of stainless steel varieties corrosion resistance is better than 200 series of stainless steel varieties. The 400 series stainless steel variety currently adds trace niobium, titanium, copper and aluminum elements to improve its deep drawing performance, weldability, corrosion resistance and high temperature strength, and can partially replace the 304 stainless steel model. At present, the 400 series stainless steel varieties with the above trace elements are SUS430LX, 430JIL, 444, 445M2, NSS447M1 and so on.
