SIPART PS2 includes comprehensive diagnostics functions that continuously monitor actuator and valve performance to provide early warning of potential failures. The positioner enables regular partial stroke testing to ensure ESD valves (emergency shutdown) and other automated valves remain operational during emergencies. It can also test attached solenoid valves and function as an intelligent solenoid valve replacement.
Communication Integration
Seamlessly integrate into your communications infrastructure via PROFIBUS PA, Foundation Fieldbus, or HART protocols. With HART and PROFIBUS, SIMATIC PDM can be applied to clearly display and document saved trends, histograms, commissioning data, and operating parameters.
