Installation Guidelines
Safety Precautions
- Ensure all input and supply pressures to valve, actuator, and related devices are completely turned off
- Utilize bypass valves or supportive equipment to prevent complete system shutdown during installation
- Verify no residual pressure remains in the actuator before proceeding
Critical Installation Note
The positioner includes a vent cover for exhausting internal air and draining condensation water. During installation, the vent cover MUST be positioned facing downward to prevent water damage to the PCB components.
