The transmitter features HART modem compatibility and SIMATIC PDM software for configuration. Configuration data is stored in EEPROM memory. When properly connected to power supply, the transmitter outputs temperature-linear signals with green LED indication for normal operation. Diagnostic LEDs indicate sensor short-circuits (flashing red) or internal equipment faults (steady red).

Springs and screws for securing the transmitter are included. The device can be secured either in the base of the connection head or in the raised cover of the connection head.
