The main functions of the support roller are to support and stabilize the conveyor belt, ensuring the smooth operation of the material delivery system. The specific functions are as follows:

1. Support the Conveyor Belt: It bears the weight of the large belt (conveyor belt) and the material, preventing material spillage or belt misalignment caused by excessive belt sag.

2. Guidance and Anti-Drift: It restricts the belt's running path through a specific installation position (such as the edge or bottom), preventing the belt from swinging left and right or detaching from the drum during high-speed operation.

3. Reduce Friction and Wear: It converts sliding friction between the belt and the frame into rolling friction, reducing belt wear and operational resistance, thereby extending the belt's service life.

4. Auxiliary Cushioning: Near the material drop point, some lower guide wheels also have a cushioning effect, lessening the impact of large materials on the belt.
