The difference between TPU material and silicone material

Both are insoluble in water and any solvent, non-toxic and tasteless, stable chemical properties and high mechanical strength. However, there are big differences between the two, as follows:

1. The most obvious difference: TUP material is much hard; but silicone material is soft;

2. TPU material wear resistance, impact resistance and shock absorption are better than silicone materials;

3. Silicone material is soft, poor elasticity and sticky; TUP material is the opposite;

4. The aging resistance characteristic of TUP materials is stronger than that of silicone materials;

5. Silicone gel is easy to be greasy, and the slightly poor material is easy to touch ash and ash; TPU material has outstanding cold resistance, oil resistance, water resistance and mold resistance;

6. TUP materials are easier to turn yellow than silicone materials.
