Difference between PLA and CPLA material
CPLA is PLA modified material.
PLA doesn’t offer high heat tolerance, and can tolerate only up to 110 °F, thus PLA cutlery is suitable for cold food, and beverages.
CPLA has higher heat tolerance, even up to 212 °F, so CPLA cutlery is best for hot food.
About Factory
Our Factory is an enterprise which is specialized in R&D, production, technology promotion of PP material products and PLA material biodegradable products. Located in Shanghai, it covers an area of 20,000 square meters with about 80 employees. Factory has been certificated by ISO, GMP and HACCP food quality and safety management system; and also has got EU OK COMPOST certificate and the US BPI certificate.
Our PLA and CPLA cutlery comes from plant starch or sugar, which are all biodegradable materials, with these materials, our factory produce packaging, tableware, cutlery, cups and straws. Thus all our PLA/ CPLA cutlery can be degraded in compost system, without remaining in the air, water or soil, as well as no pollution to the environment.
