High-pressure short-arc xenon lamp is also called ultra-high pressure short-arc xenon lamp (working pressure above 10 atmospheres), short-arc xenon lamp (arc length is several millimeters), spherical xenon lamp (spherical shell), referred to as xenon lamp for short.
The lamp is a point light source with extremely high brightness, the color temperature is about 6000K, and the light color is close to sunlight. It is the light source with the best color rendering among gas discharge lamps at present. It is suitable for movie projections, searchlights, train locomotives, and simulating sunlight.
