Why Use a Reflector
Our emitters can be coated with gold or ceramic reflectors to concentrate heat and increase efficiency. Gold/ceramic coated emitters convert nearly all electrical power into heat. For high watt density or temperatures above 800°C, we recommend ceramic coating (resistant to 1000°C). Custom coating degrees are available beyond the standard 180° (half-tube) option.
