Usage:

1. After the wound is cleaned and disinfected, take out sterile transparent medical dressing from the bag.

2. Remove the release paper from one end of the transparent dressing to expose the adhesive surface.

3. Holding both ends, apply the adhesive surface to the skin and smooth it from the middle to all sides.

4. Remove the release material from the back.

5. When a small amount of exudate is generated after abrasions, burns or surgery, sterile gauze or absorbent pads and anti-inflammatory drugs should be applied to the wound after cleaning the wound, and then transparent medical dressing should be affixed.

Advantage:

The adhesive used for transparent dressings is medical pressure-sensitive adhesive, and the supplier is Henkel Corporation of the United States. The advantage of this medical pressure-sensitive adhesive is low sensitization rate, which fully solves the shortcoming of traditional hot-melt adhesive that is prone to allergy. Secondly, the medical pressure sensitive adhesive does not change with the change of temperature, so the dressing application product will not affect the use effect with the change of region, and will not fall off, stick, edge warping and other phenomena in too hot or too cold weather.

Contraindication:

1. The wound is infected and ulcer is forbidden. If the wound becomes infected later, such as congestion, swelling, exudation and fever, the use should be discontinued or the frequency of replacement should be increased according to the doctor's diagnosis.

2. When removing the dressing, care should be taken that the catheter or other instruments covering it are not pulled off.

3. Dressings of appropriate specifications should be selected to ensure that they can stick firmly to the dry and healthy skin around the wound, and should not be pulled to cause tension and damage the skin.
