CLYC(Ce) is a new Gamma Neutron discrimation scintillator Which has good capture ability for fast and thermal neutrons. It's widely use for Neutron personal dosimeter, Neutron detection and nuclear plant etc.
CLYC(Ce) scintillator advantage including:
- Good absorbers with good stopping powers - density 3.31 g/cm³ and Z of 54
- Fast with a decay time
- Wavelength 390nm peak
- Robust with good mechanically characteristics
