MRI RF Shielded Window with Double-Pane Insulating Glass and Brass Mesh Painted Black for Temperature Range -40°C to +85°C
The JOVVI Double-Pane Insulating MRI Window features a 5mm tempered glass outer pane and an 8mm insulating hollow glass inner pane, providing enhanced thermal and acoustic insulation while maintaining RF shielding performance. The double-pane construction reduces heat transfer between the control room and scanner room, contributing to stable environmental conditions for the MRI system.
The insulating glass construction also provides superior acoustic performance, reducing transmission of scanner noise to the control room. The 98.5% transparency ensures clear patient observation through the shielding mesh. The window achieves 100–110 dB RF attenuation across 10 MHz to 130 MHz, compatible with 1.5T and 3.0T MRI systems.
The double-pane design is particularly beneficial in facilities with extreme climate conditions, where the scanner room requires strict temperature control for stable MRI operation, or where operator comfort is a priority in the control room.
JOVVI's glass processing capabilities include the fabrication of double-pane insulating glass units optimized for MRI shielding applications. The glass is selected for optical clarity and compatibility with the shielding mesh. The factory's quality control includes inspection of insulating glass seals to ensure long-term performance.
The factory's experience with MRI window applications informs the selection of glass thickness and pane spacing for optimal thermal, acoustic, and shielding performance. JOVVI's engineering team can provide guidance on window installation to maintain insulating properties.
