Electroplated wheels often stay “cutting” longer in light/moderate duty roughing.Light to moderate pressure: Forcing can cause overheating, vibration, or diamond loss (electroplated layers are less tolerant to heavy impact than some thick bonded wheels).Avoid side loading and twisting: Keep contact controlled to protect the plated diamond layer.Heat control: Even though graphite tolerates heat differently than some materials, you still want to avoid long dwell that can smear or damage the work surface.
