An HLN coolant heater integrates seamlessly into the engine coolant loop, providing an independent heating source. Within the HLN coolant heater system, the metering pump connects to the existing fuel tank, supplies diesel fuel to the heater for combustion. The circulation pump draws engine coolant into the heater. The heater heats up the coolant, and the coolant continues to warm up the engine block to avoid cold start, or keep the engine operating in a desired temperature. As a result, engine wear is reduced, and the vehicle cabin can be warm without idling the engine.
