Applications:
Approved for fabrication of heads and pressure parts of pressure vessels only, and excludes fabrication of pressure vessel shells and other similar items.
Packing and Shipping:
Conical tank heads are packaged and shipped in the following manner:
- The tank head is cleaned and inspected prior to shipping.
- The tank head is wrapped in plastic wrap and secured with packing tape.
- The tank head is placed in a cardboard box and sealed with packing tape.
- The box is then placed in a larger cardboard box with packing peanuts or other cushioning material for extra protection.
- The larger box is then sealed with packing tape and labeled with the customer’s address.
- The box is then shipped via a reliable carrier.
