Description ASE optical source is designed for manufacture and laboratory experiment. The gain medium Er-doped fiber and high performance pump laser are main parts for optical source. Control the output power of the pump laser with the particular ATC and APC circuits ensure the output power of the equipment. The output power can be adjusted by the APC circuit in fixed scope. The equipment has Simple and intelligent operation, long-distance control.

Operation Attention

1.Optical fiber interface:

The output port interface in high power amplifier is easily burned by incorrect operating.
1)Must keep the interface clean: Especial on the output port. If it is in dirty or dust, it will damage the port. Make sure the interface clean before using.
2)Generally, after cleaning the interface with pure ethanol, must clean it again with dry absorbent cotton or camera dustiness paper.
3)Forbid to clean the interface during output power on.
4)Forbid to plug in or pull out the output pigtail during output power on.
2.ESD:
The laser and some IC internal is electrostatic sensitivity device. Body or other object with high electric static can damage the equipment. MUST: the equipment ground will, operator in anti-electrostatic set, such as in anti-electrostatic wearing or wear bracelet.
3.Power Supply:
Please ensure the supply power meet the equipment’s requirement in voltage and current. Don’t break the power suddenly during operating.
4.Person Safety:
Don’t view the output beam directly including the output port or jumper interface, Don’t exposure your skin directly in the output power too. Or it will damage you eyes or skin.
