The working principle of optical switch

The working principle of the optical switch is based on the photovoltaic effect and photoelectric effect of the semiconductor material. When external light shines on the photosensor, the photons are absorbed by the semiconductor to produce electron hole pairs, and these charge pairs can be collected and amplified by the external circuit, which ultimately controls the switching behavior of the circuit.
