U9740B CDR (clock recovery instrument) is mainly used to provide clock recovery signals in the test environment without triggering the clock, so as to use the sampling oscilloscope to test the optical eye diagram of the device. Typical application is the test of optical network equipment, or for BOB products in PON application, because the measured equipment itself does not have the output of the frequency division clock, the clock signal needs to be recovered to trigger the sampling oscilloscope when testing the optical eye map.
U9740B CDR with an FC optical interface adapter, suitable for conventional SFP28/56, SR, LR and BIDI module optical signal access, support NRZ and PAM4 signals, FC optical interface to receive optical signals into electrical signals, CDR will be the electrical signal clock extracted and output. Clock signal is mainly used in oscilloscope trigger signal.
