It offers outstanding resistance to stress corrosion cracking, pitting and crevice corrosion due to the high level of Mo and Cr. Nickel alloy rod ERNiCrMo-10 also provides a tough Nb-free weld metal for dissimilar welds in super Austenitic and super duplex stainless steel or combinations of these with Ni-base alloys. It has been widely used in the welding of aggressively corrosive media include chemical process plants, corrosion-resistant overlays and in severe offshore and petrochemical environments.
