Application

The raw material of the overall weighted drill pipe is AISI 4145H alloy structural steel. The production process is strictly in accordance with

SY/T5146-1997 standard. The weighted drill pipe is a kind of medium weight drilling tool similar to drill pipe, whose wall thickness is larger than

drill pipe and smaller than drill collar. It is generally added between drill pipe and drill collar when forming drill string to prevent sudden change of

drill string section and reduce fatigue of drill pipe. When used in directional Wells, the drill string can be drilled at high speed with low torque,

which reduces wear and breakage of drill string. Due to its smaller rigidity than drill collar and small contact area with borehole wall, it is not easy

to form differential pressure stuck drill string.
