The lighting system consists of three main components: lamp, battery box, and solar panel. Four 7W solar panels are foldable for better sunlight absorption, energy storage, and easier transportation. The system supports 256 flashing patterns in accordance with IALA standards, Morse code, SOS code, and custom codes.
The NFS1803P model features a high-efficiency rechargeable LiFePO4 battery that can power the lamp for up to 20 days during rainy weather. The battery is widely available and easily replaceable.
Year-round, unrestricted solar exposure is critical to long-term performance. Shade dramatically reduces the ability of the light to charge its battery.
Charge every 3 months when storing the unit for extended periods.
