Super Spectra High Performance 12 Strand Rope Amsteel, Plasma, Dyneema, UHMWPE
UHMWPE rope is ultra high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) 12-strand fiber braided rope. It has the strongest tensile strength per weight. It is stronger than the wire rope of same diameter, and it weighs 1/8 of wire rope. UHMWPE rope is treated with a unique coating process and special heat treatment process to enhance its anti-abrasion characteristics.
