The Hinged Casing Spiders are used during casing handling operations when cementing equipment will not clear a closed spider or rotary table, casing will not pass or clear a closed spider or rotary table, or where it is preferred to not place heavy casing string loads directly on rotary table bearings.

The Hinged Casing Spider has a hinged spider body with a split insert bowl. It is put above a rotary table and is suitable for most casings of different sizes.

They are designed and manufactured according to API SPEC 7K Specification for drilling and well servicing equipment.
