Oilfield Wellhead Equipment X-mas Tree Description:

X-mas Tree is also called the Christmas tree. It is a wellhead control device when testing oil and gas after the completion of oil (gas) wells, or when producing oil from blowout wells and machine production wells. It consists of tubing hangers and many gates and tee or cross, which are directly mounted on the casing head. A Christmas tree with only one side of the oil outlet is called a single-wing Christmas tree; one with an oil outlet on both sides is called a double-winged Christmas tree. The Christmas tree is equipped with oil nozzles (choke nozzles), and the production of oil and gas is controlled by replacing the nozzles with different inner diameters.
It is the main equipment for controlling and regulating the production of oil and gas at the top of the oil and gas well. It mainly consists of three parts: casing head, tubing head, and oil (gas) tree body.
