Crown Block Bearing Tapered Roller Thrust Bearing Details

Tapered roller thrust bearings are designed to carry axial loads with little radial load carrying capacity. They comprise a shaft washer, a housing washer, and a roller and cage assembly and are separable. These bearings have raceways on the face of the washers. The washer raceways are tapered, and center of the taper lines of the raceways and rollers coincide with the bearing center to provide perfect rolling.
