Pinion shaft assembly Description of Mud Pump Spare Parts
Pinion shaft is made of alloy steel forgings, and herringbone gears are machined on the shaft, using medium-hard tooth flour. In order to facilitate maintenance, a single-row centripetal long cylindrical roller bearing with no stop edge on the inner ring is selected. Both ends of the shaft extend, and pulley or chain wheel can be installed at either end.
The blank of the pinion shaft is forged with high-quality alloy and is made by rough machining, heat treatment, finishing and gear hobbing. It is a key part of the power end. Its two ends extend to the outside of the frame and are used to install a large pulley to input power to the mud pump.
