DTF printing process
DTF printing has evolved from solutions based on retrofit thermal transfer printers and hand-crank and bake adhesive applications to professional printers, adhesive applicators and adhesive curing dryers.
The digital image is printed face down with tacky white ink on top until the adhesive powder is laminated to the print, the excess is vibrated off, and then cured. The finished image is trimmed and pressed (~10 seconds) for the same durability and feel as direct screen printing.
The software included in the solution efficiently utilizes media to reduce waste and increase profits, and can be integrated with the user's order system to quickly take orders from the web to production without human intervention until it is ready for print release.
