Step 1-Print on film
You need to print CMYK first, then a white layer (this is the opposite of Direct-to-garment (DTG)). This can easily be done with a single pass using the Kothari NeoRip software. Other software needs to do that. To achieve this, print twice.
Step 2-Apply powder
Apply the powder evenly while the print is still wet to ensure it adheres. Carefully shake off excess powder so that it does not remain on the outside of the printed matter. This is very important because it is the glue that holds the print on the fabric.
Step 3-Melting / curing the powder
Hover for 2 minutes in a heat press at 350 degrees Fahrenheit to cure the newly powdered print.
Step 4-Transfer
Now that the transfer print has been cooked, it's ready to be transferred to your clothes. Use a heat press to transfer the print film at 284 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 seconds.
Step 5-Cold peel
Wait for the print to cool completely before removing the carrier sheet from clothing or cloth.
