Polishing finish, also called brushed, directional or satin finish, is characterized by short, parallel polishing lines that are uniform and directional in appearance. This finish extends uniformly along the length of the coil or sheet and is obtained with 150/180/240/320 grit abrasive. Higher grit numbers produce finer polishing lines.
This versatile finish is widely used for restaurant and kitchen equipment, storefronts, food processing, and dairy equipment. Polishing finishes include mirror, hairline, sandblasting, and vibration.
