Overview:

The Piggable 5D Elbows are specially manufactured to provide a smooth pig passage and minimize the increase in pressure requirements. Pigging elbows are available for any pipe size, plan and material configuration. The centerline bend radius of piggable elbows is usually 3 or 5 times the nominal pipe diameter. Elbows are specially manufactured to meet tight ovality tolerances. They have welded tangents on both ends to prevent the pig from hanging up and to ensure the pig runs smoothly through the elbow.
