Any chemicals, food, beverages, lubricant, additives, resin and liquid products can be removed (cleaned) in the pipe by pigging. Pigging in most cases is more efficient with less wastage of product compared to CIP process. It also does not require any cleaning liquids such as water, solvent, etc and hence saving cost of production.
