Testing Procedure
- Determine R1 and S1 settings where maximum I r.m.s. occurs
- Test at this maximum condition
- If lamp fails passively within 60 minutes, repeat test at 10% lower I r.m.s.
- Set lower I r.m.s. in the decreasing potentiometer resistance direction
Application: This equipment tests non-dimmable self-ballasted lamps on dimmers or electronic switches as a possible case of abnormal operation.
