The IEC60112 Tracking Index Tester is a precision electrical safety testing instrument designed to evaluate the tracking resistance performance of solid insulating materials under the combined influence of electric field and humid or contaminated conditions.

Testing Principle
The instrument applies a conducting liquid (0.1% NH4CL) at specified intervals (30±5 seconds) from a height of 35±5mm between platinum electrodes (2mm × 5mm) on the material surface. This enables accurate measurement of Compare Tracking Index (CTI) and Proof Tracking Index (PTI) values.
