This splash water test device is according to the standard requirement of IEC60335-2-64 clause 15.1.1 and 15.1.2 to manufacture,In addition, IPX1, IPX2, IPX3 and IPX4 appliances are subjected for 5 min to the following splash test.

The apparatus shown in Figure 101 is used. During the test, the water pressure is so regulated that the water splashes up 150 mm above the bottom of the bowl. The bowl is placed on the floor for appliances normally used on the floor. For all other appliances, on a horizontal support 50 mm below the lowest edge of appliance, the bowl is so moved around as to splash the appliance from all directions. Care is taken that the appliance is not hit by the direct jet.

Modification:

Appliances normally used on a table are placed on a support having dimensions that are 15 cm±5 cm in excess of those of the orthogonal projection of the appliance on the support.

The device adopts aluminum structure, splash structure can be upward/downward adjusted; adopt the Foma wheels, it can move and also can be fixed; nozzle, bowls, and connecting tube are made of stainless steel, whole structure waterproof and anti-corrosion; equipped with a pressure gauge, real-time display the current hydraulic pressure.

Technical parameters:

1. Bowl:(φ35-φ25)*10mm,are made of stainless steel.

2. The nozzle diameter is 2mm, with an angle of 60 degrees on the bowl, 50mm distance from the bottom of the bowl, are made of stainless steel.

3. Splash structure lifting stroke: 1m .

4. Pressure gauge: 0.4Mpa.

5. Test method: Fix the splash device, rotate the test sample, test time is 5min, manual control.
