Properties:
white needle-shape crystalloids, it can be processed to be big flake, column, fine granular,
powder. It's bitter, odorless, boiling point is 204ºC(15mmHG),soluble in alcohol, benzene, toluene,
chloroform and dimethylformamide, and slightly soluble in water.

Application:
It's mainly used as rust-preventer,antifreezing liquid,antioxidant additive(including
lubricating oil,hydraulic oil,brake oil,transformer's oil),emugent,water stabilizer,the additive for high
molecular materials'(polyester and polyesteramide)capacity of ultraviolet resistance and anstatic
electricity,photographic antifogging agent,copper mine flotation,metal's slow corrosion etc.It can be used in combination with a variety of scale inhibitors and bactericidal algaecides, and benzotriazazole does not interfere with the corrosion inhibition of polyphosphate, and has strong resistance to oxidation. However, when it is present with free chlorine, it loses its corrosion inhibition effect on copper, and after the chlorine disappears, its corrosion inhibition is restored. Its use concentration is generally 1-2mg/L, and the corrosion inhibition effect is very good in the range of pH value 5.5~10, but the corrosion inhibition effect is reduced in the medium with low pH value.
