Zamac die castings have excellent plating properties. Electroplating is the most popular decorative finish when corrosion resistance and high wear resistance are required and can usually be done in gold, silver and rose gold. Polishing and brushing techniques can produce an appearance similar to chrome or stainless steel. When painted, these finishes are suitable for decorative interior applications. Also, instead of regular glue, riveting or click assembly is possible between Zamac and PP. It prevents defects due to glue when transporting in extreme weather, such as when transporting from 30°C to -20°C.
