When the batteries arrive at the battery pack factory, even the same batch of batteries may have different parameters(IR, Voltage), especially when the batteries come from some infeasible suppliers. When assemble the battery into a battery pack, we hope that the battery of the same battery pack has the same parameters(IR, Voltage) as much as possible, so that the performance of the battery pack will be better and more balance
