What is a 2B metal finish?
A #2B finish, also commonly referred to as a “mill finish” describes the unpolished cold rolled material as it is obtained
from the producing mill. It may sometimes exhibit a slight luster from the rolling process, but no reflectivity.
What is the difference between 2B and 2D finish?
2B Finish is a bright, cold-rolled finish commonly produced in the same manner as No. 2D, except that the final light-cold
rolling pass is done using polished rolls. This produces a more reflective finish that resembles a cloudy mirror.
